Need to replace the front master cylinder. Curren t had to put on a Nissin from a 2010 ZX6R
Problem is the brake light switch boxes are not interchangeable
Waiting back on availabilty from the wreckers and then the price and condition versus buying a new oem one.
Have already serviced the previous one using the kit from All Balls.
I can get one from Suzuki but none in stock until end of April 🙁

Yep the thread is munted. And It was my fault trying to seat the banjo bolt further into the block. So beware the depth is only deep enough for a single hose bolt. The thread is a fine pitch too, as I though it was a coarse thread. No coming back from this need a a new cylinder. I did try replacing with a cylinder from the 2009 range of Ninja's still of Nissin type but for radial configuration. No matter what I tried to bleed the calipers, it just didnt work.
Replacement
OEM cylinder arrived on the 17th, two weeks early -- YESSSSS. Couldn't wait to fit it. Had to find a fine pitch double banjo bolt. Luckily one in 'spares' box hidden away.

Not a s flash as the more modern block but I think due to the age and type of these calipers, the modern blocks are just too powerful.THe oem for this year bled great with no issues. Using Motul 5.1. However that being said these models were/ are reknowned for having crap brakes. With that in mind I am happy. The old zip tie and leave to bled the final smaller bubbles away.
